What age group is Buddy for?
Buddy is designed for kids aged 3 years and up. Buddy exists to provide your child with an interactive companion that supports their emotional, cognitive, and social development, making learning and growth an enjoyable journey. With a mix of playful and educational features, he grows with your child and adapts to different stages of play and learning.
Is Buddy safe for children?
Yes! Buddy is built with child-safe materials and comes with volume limits, parental controls, and safe browsing features to give parents peace of mind. Each Buddy is also pre-programmed with a parental password (included in the instruction booklet) and set to a default age of 3+, ensuring he only responds in age-appropriate ways. That means no inappropriate content, just safe, fun, and engaging play.
Does Buddy need an internet connection?
Buddy requires an internet connection for streaming shows, downloading updates, and using interactive features. When you’re out and about, Buddy can stay connected by linking to a mobile hotspot from a parent’s phone, so the fun never stops on the go!
How do I set up Buddy?
Buddy is easy to set up! Simply power him on, connect to Wi-Fi, and follow the quick-start guide included in the box.
How do I ask Buddy questions?
To activate Buddy's AI-answering chatbot, simply say "Hey, Buddy!"
